(Author’s Note) This was written before the Blazers secured the number 5th or 6th pick, and was intended primarily for their 23 pick acquired from the NYK. The part about Skylar was added 4/28/23.
The NBA season is 8 or 10 games from being over and the draft positions far from being determined as of this moment (3/25/23). That does not, however, deter the intrepid Old Man Numbers from posting a highly favorable and numerically compatible 2023 Trail Blazers draft pick. That numerical standout would be Duke player Kyle Jarred Filipowski.
The 7 foot, 230 pound power forward had an accomplished freshman season and was named the ACC Rookie Player of the Year. Though playing power forward, he is viewed here as a potential replacement for Jusuf Nurkic at center should the Blazers move him onward in pursuit of a high echelon player. If not Kyle could soon move into the rotation at PF and allow the shorter Blazer forward go to the small forward position.
Why the numerical enthusiasm for him? He has a personality number 7, soul number 6 and number 4 integrated self number. These along with a 5 life number and 9 destiny number make for a congenial fit with the Blazers primary numbers and those of staff, coaching and other players on the roster (see following charts).

Comments from last year>>>>
When I added Shaedon I got most excited. And now add Jabari Walker. Considering the resources the Blazers had to work with, from a numerological point of view they hit the jackpot!!
Shaedon Sharpe=IS=61=7, P=43=7, S=18=9
LN=13=4 (also a pure 40), Dest=74=11=2
Jabari Walker=88=7 IS, P=47=11=2, S=41-5

With a little scrutiny the reader will see the several matching numbers with Kyle and the organization, and key personnel. Will the Blazers choose him? Slim chance, I reckon. But it is fun to speculate. I have offered insights before that, if taken, might have made the Blazers more successful in reaching their championship aspirations.
As an added thought, there is talk about keeping Skylar Mays. The numbers say they could get a bargain and potential contributor. Try 1,2, and 3 with a 40 life number and that tantalizing 7 as his destiny number. See previous article to understand the fit.
