Over the years one repeated criticism of my work has been about the emphasis that I have placed upon cosmology in my teaching and application of numerology. I am particularly saddened by the superficiality and ignorance of those calling themselves numerologists who have chosen to belabor this point.
I have many times spoken about and written about the massive influence upon my work from the book entitled The Cosmic Doctrine by Dion Fortune. It is said to have been channeled in 1923 from one who in a previous life time was a world famous philosopher. I have been candid in my opinion that the source could very well have been Pythagoras.
Around the mid to late 1980’s I read a popular science book called Superforce (The Search for the Grand Unified Theory of Nature) by British physicist Paul Davies. It was written in near layman’s terms and was a view of the current thinking of quantum physics and some astrophysics at the time. I was struck wit. It sheds light upon the forming of the torus donut and the movements that lead to the vector equilibrium. h the remarkable similarity in thought and structure between this earlier tome and the hot topic of the day. Although written in different vocabularies and from a different perspective, they mirrored each other to an extraordinary degree. AND, much of what was said in the former was virtually repeated in the latter.
Even in more recent years I have been watching the latest thoughts of cosmologists on the science channel. There were statements like, and cosmologists are just learning that……..!! Interestingly the “that” was more than once foreshadowed in The Cosmic Doctrine, and I found myself chuckling with the thought that,” oh, they finally figured that out”!
It was the contemplation and meditation upon the concepts presented in Doctrine that lifted me into a transpersonal soul journey I took through the cosmos around the same time in my life. I traveled back though time, space, wormholes, multiple dimensions and galactic creations to a moment of being radiated out in a primal burst of initial cosmic manifestation! I then journeyed again through galaxies and wormholes and passage through the planets of our solar system. Finally, I found myself back here on terra firma. It was like a living conformation of the Doctrine.
Through a somewhat esoteric and at times very abstract nomenclature The Cosmic Doctrine reveals a very simple and fundamental process of cosmic, galactic, systemic, planetary and human story of evolution.. It sheds light upon the forming of the torus doughnut and the movements that lead to the vector equilibrium. The reader is left with a better grasp of the basis of color, sound, the DNA strand, math and simple things like that. More important to students of the deeper wisdoms, perhaps, it provides insights to the cosmic and living dynamics of astrology, the Kabbalah, the I-Ching, tarot and NUMEROLOGY!
AND finally, most important to all of us, perhaps, is that it yields a very enlightened clue as to the origin and nature of the first circle (0) zero, along with the first tangant (straight line) or number 1. The initial makings of the great cosmic code!
I rest my case.
(Update) This is May of 2018 and I was just watching a segment on cosmology on the Science Channel. There was discussion of the “latest” concepts of a force of the universe which pushes against our planet. It is a concept from TCD that I have presented in my work since the 1980’s
(Update 2019)-I was watching science channel the other night about the very latest in cosmology quantum space time theories. It was about the expanding universe and how gravity will catch up and everything will condense to the size of a cosmic orange (my own musing analogy). AND THEN?? A present mystery. Speculation is there could be other universes (some on other dimensions) that effect this, and trigger the cycle of birth and rebirth. Anyway, that is exactly out of Cosmic Doctrine. I have been teaching that concept for 37 years. I also started using a Goldilocks analogy around the same time (circa 1980). The Goldilocks principle is a concept from current cosmology.
What does this have to do with numerology, you might ask? Numerology is the study of vibration, rhythm and cycles. In the cosmic dance is too much, too little and the balance point (just right). Some might call it the law of karma. So, too, we dance with the rhythm of our outer (personality) and inner (soul). In the process of learning we learn to dance in harmony with society, our world, solar system, galaxy and universe. In the end of the upward (or inward?) spiral we dance in harmony with the cycles of the cosmos, and become a cocreator. Would you like to dance?.
